Shenzhen Women Sci-tech Innovation Fund was jointly launched by Shenzhen Women's Federation, Longhua District People's Government and Shenzhen Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. As a special fund with investments from State-owned enterprises, it aims to support women in their sci-tech endeavors, build a platform for women to engage in cooperation concerning human resources and coordination among enterprises, universities and research institutes, and provide women with financial, managerial and technical assistance. The two enterprises have funded the first 500 million yuan (US $69.4 million).
Shenzhen Women Sci-tech Public Welfare Project was founded by Shenzhen Women and Children's Development Foundation in collaboration with several partners under the guidance of Shenzhen Women's Federation.
